Calling all VA District Church of the Nazarene families and kids!

Would you like to be a part of this year’s Family Camp Compassion Project, “A Chicken In Every Pot”?

The Bike-A-Thon is your chance! Ask people to sponsor you to ride your bike—or run, or walk—in laps around the Virginia Nazarene Retreat Center baseball field next to the Family Life Center. See how many laps you can do. The participants with the longest duration get a fun prize!

Pledge materials are available at the Virginia NMI website, or you can collect money in folders that will be provided at the campground.

¿Les gustaría participar en el proyecto solidario del Campamento Familiar de este año, titulado «Un pollo en cada olla»?

¡El Bike-A-Thon (maratón en bicicleta) es su oportunidad! Pidan a otras personas que los patrocinen para recorrer vueltas en bicicleta —o corriendo o caminando— alrededor del campo de béisbol del Centro de Retiros Nazareno de Virginia, junto al Centro de Vida Familiar. ¡Vean cuántas vueltas logran completar! ¡Los participantes que más tiempo se mantengan en actividad recibirán un premio divertido!

The Cause aims to raise up future missional Nazarenes Nazarenes around the world have heard of The Cause in recent weeks and months, perhaps through district assemblies and church or missions events. So, what is The Cause?

If you’re headed to Kansas City for the 2027 General Assembly and Conventions of the Church of the Nazarene, consider if you or a team from your church can take part in the “Love Your Neighbor” compassionate ministry project!

From June 20–27, 2027, participants will have opportunities to:

• Engage in more than 23 ministry projects across Kansas City, including construction projects, sports ministry, Vacation Bible School outreach, community engagement, and food distribution
• Support two new downtown church plants
• Serve alongside Nazarenes from around the world
