Today, we give thanks for the birth of Blessed Francis Jordan, founder of the Salvatorian Family, born on June 16, 1848.

Inspired by a deep love for the Savior and a desire to make Jesus known and loved everywhere, Blessed Francis Jordan dreamed of a worldwide apostolic family united in mission. Through his faith, perseverance, and trust in God's providence, that dream became a reality.

More than 175 years later, his vision continues through the lives and ministries of the Sisters of the Divine Savior, the Society of the Divine Savior, and the International Community of the Divine Savior serving people across the globe.

On this special day, we thank God for Blessed Francis Jordan's life, his courageous "yes," and the Salvatorian legacy he entrusted to us. May we continue to live his mission by proclaiming the goodness and kindness of our Savior through our words, our actions, and our daily lives.

"May all know, love, and serve Jesus, the Savior of the world."

Blessed Francis Jordan, pray for us.

Before Dashers headed out for the summer, we asked them to submit their favorite photos from the last year.

Emily Tamas, DSHA '29, submitted this picture of her first ever Dash-A-Thon, featuring the friends she made during her first year at DSHA: Vivie, Josie, Sophia, Harper, and Maddie!

What do we think this year’s Dash-A-Thon theme will be?
