Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, the end of slavery in the United States. We celebrate our freedom in Christ and pray for transformative peace, selfless unity, and a grace-filled love for all people.
Juneteenth honors June 19, 1865, the day Union soldiers announced and ensured the last of slavery was abolished by visiting Galveston, Texas and enforcing the Emancipation Proclamation. Even though more than two years had passed, many southern states had ignored the proclamation.
Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.

Unfortunately, due to the forecasted severe weather, we are cancelling tomorrow's Night Market. We’re sad that we won’t be able to gather, but we want to make sure that everyone is safe.
We hope to see everyone at the July Night Market on July 9!

Every Mount Olive student had the opportunity to go to the Milwaukee Art Museum through donations from Mrs. Meier, our librarian. The museum was closed to the public, but the classes received a private tour from a docent explaining different pieces of art to them. Students took the concepts learned at the art museum and turned them into projects in their classroom!
