Is your topic a great fit for a Track Talk?

The Track Talk is the classic Scientific Assembly lecture format—and our longest-standing presentation style for a reason. Each session includes:

✅ 18 minutes of focused teaching
✅ 2 minutes of moderated audience Q&A
✅ Up to 2 speakers maximum

If your proposal features 2–3 strong learning objectives, explores clinical nuance, or benefits from a deeper dive than a quick-hit session allows, a Track Talk may be the perfect fit.

Breve Dulce (“short and sweet”) lectures are fast-paced, focused, and audience favorites. Limited to 25 slides and one presenter, they’re all about delivering one memorable takeaway.

🚨 A topic can be clinically important, evidence-based, and fascinating — and still get declined if it feels too specialized for most emergency physicians.

Reviewers are asking: How relevant is this to everyday emergency medicine practice?

Topics like complications in ECMO or neonatal single-ventricle physiology may be excellent — but they may not connect with a broad community EM audience. Try reframing niche expertise into practical ED questions: How do I give this patient the best chance of surviving cardiac arrest? How do I manage this blue baby?

The strongest proposals help most emergency physicians leave with something they can use tomorrow.
