Do you have the yellow parking ID for Viets Field? Go ahead and cut it up, it's fun (or throw it in the trash; it's your call). With the installation of the new garage doors at Viets Field, new card readers were installed as well. Those yellow parking cards are no longer needed.
Per Director Fyfe's email on April 28, students assigned to park in Viets Field should use their MSOE ID to scan into the garage, as they would any other campus building. Do not use the yellow parking card, that thing is history!

Good afternoon. Public Safety was notified of another tornado watch for Milwaukee County until 8:00 PM on Friday, April 17. We will continue to monitor the situation. If the watch is elevated to a tornado warning, Public Safety will send out a RAVE alert.
Remember, the yellow Emergency Procedures placards have been placed in every classroom, common area, and conference room on campus. Scan the QR code to be taken to MSOE's Emergency Procedures guide. From there you can see your building's designated tornado shelter. FYI, the idea is to scan the QR and learn the information before an emergency begins.
If the RAVE alert is sent, or if you hear tornado sirens, or if you feel uncomfortable, please report to your tornado shelter immediately. You do not need to wait for Public Safety to es**rt you.
As always, Patrol Officers will go to each building to ensure that everyone is heading towards their tornado shelter. Those found outside of their tornado shelter will be es**rted their by Public Safety.

TORNADO WATCH in effect for Milwaukee County until 10:00 PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Public Safety will be monitoring the weather. If the status is escalated to TORNADO WARNING we will issue a RAVE alert. When the RAVE alert is sent, or if you hear tornado sirens, or you if you're feeling unsafe/uncomfortable, please report to your building's tornado shelter immediately.
The yellow emergency procedures guides have been placed in every classroom, common area, and conference room on campus. Scan the QR code to go view MSOE's emergency procedures, and locate your building's tornado shelter. NOTE: The idea is to do this before an emergency takes place.
If we upgrade to a tornado warning, Patrol Officers will visit each campus building to ensure that occupants are going to their tornado shelter. NOTE: You do not need to wait for us to arrive to report to your shelter area. Anyone found outside of the tornado shelter will be es**rted there.
