The Foundation is entering our summer fundraising season!
Get free Brewers tickets when you help the Milwaukee French Immersion Foundation fundraise over the summer at crepe stands at community festivals!
This year, the Foundation is not participating in the Brewers Community Fundraising program. Instead, the Foundation is hoping to fundraise and get the word about the school out to the Milwaukee community at local festivals. The Foundation cannot fundraise or accomplish its mission without volunteers. Please help with a 4-hour shift this summer!

Last weekend we gathered with our 2025-26 interns, their families, all of them, and teachers they work with to celebrate the year, and have some good food and beer. We've been doing this each year to thank our interns for the time they've spent in our community. We also do this to thank our host families.
BTW: if you can host next year, please reach out to me! I'm looking for two families to host first semester next year!

Bonjour friends and families! I hope that you enjoyed this wonderful long weekend as much as I did! As we are heading back to school, I wanted to reach out to let you all know that we are still looking for 3 host families for this coming fall. If you or someone you know can provide a private room, three meals a day, and transportation to and from MSL or MFIS, please consider hosting. It is a huge favor for the school and benefits the students tremendously. [email protected]
Merci!

Over the past few months, Mme Voge (MFIS art teacher), Mme Morgan (MFIS music teacher) and the Milwaukee French Immersion Foundation have been working together to create "MFIS Gallery Night," a family-friendly evening designed to celebrate the artistic talent of our MFIS students. We hope you’ll join us for this joyful celebration of MFIS creativity.
What to Expect:
🇫🇷 This evening will capture the feeling of April in Paris. With the help of Mme Voge and a talented parent committee of artists and art educators, we will transform MFIS into a Parisian streetscape in springtime!
🇫🇷 See art pieces from every MFIS student! The exhibit will include 2D art, 3D art, and sculpture.
🇫🇷 Mme Morgan, MFIS Music Teacher, is also preparing piano students to perform throughout the evening, creating a conservatory-style atmosphere for a full night of les beaux-arts.
🇫🇷 Stickers and buttons designed by MFIS Art Club students will be available for purchase.
🇫🇷 A Parisian-style café will be run by Green Baked Goods, owned by Kevin and Angela Green, MFIS parents.
🇫🇷 Family-friendly games where students can play and win prizes.
🇫🇷 Two Paris-themed photo backdrops for fun photos.
🇫🇷 A paper flower bar where students can create their own paper flower bouquets.
🇫🇷 This event is free and open to everyone connected to the French immersion community, as well as prospective families.
🇫🇷 Milwaukee School of Languages French families are welcome to participate!

Last year, we finished the year with a bang. One of the things we did was celebrate our time with the interns by holding a send off party where host families and teachers came to say goodbye. Here are some of the photos from that event!
