Markept offers gently used goods to students during move-in for drastically reduced prices, helping to create a more sustainable university. A worthy cause for a few spare hands from the College of Comm!

Most people see journalists as providers of information. Dr. Patrick Johnson, assistant professor of journalism and media studies, sees them as educators.
That framing gives Johnson hope that responsible, thorough journalism can push back against growing animus toward LGBTQ+ representation in media.
"Journalism can be reflexive and responsible for correcting the past. It takes social justice to the next level," says Johnson.
