SJS FRIENDS VOLUNTEER PROGRAM:

Looking for a meaningful way to give back while gaining valuable experience? The SJs Friends Volunteer Program offers individuals the opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference in the lives of children on the autism spectrum. Volunteers gain hands-on experience working alongside our team while supporting children in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.

As a thank-you for your commitment, volunteers who successfully complete the program will receive free childcare services and CPR certification training. Whether you’re pursuing a career in education, healthcare, social services, or simply have a passion for helping others, our volunteer program is a great way to build skills, gain experience, and positively impact the community.

📢 Important Announcement from SJ’s Friends

EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026

After much thought and planning, SJ’s Friends will be closing the daycare portion of our services. This transition allows us to focus exclusively on serving children on the autism spectrum through respite care, daily living skills support, transportation services, mental health support for families and many exciting programs still to come.

We are grateful for the families who have trusted us along this journey and look forward to continuing to support our autism community in new and meaningful ways.

At this time, we accept CLTS and private pay funding only. While our respite center currently does not accept WI Shares, it is our goal for future SJ’s Friends centers to do so.
