GVA sure was busy this year! 😁

We would like to thank our friends at for an amazing partnership. Whether it's performing on the big stage with our top musical talent, demonstrating our f-o-r-m-i-d-a-b-l-e vocabulary, or taking home some golden hardware in the Academic Pentathlon, we enjoy accepting every opportunity to showcase our students! 🏆

Another year in the books! 😎

With summer break so close you can almost taste it, GVA gave our students an appetizer of what adventures await in the hottest months with stations featuring blow-up slides, popsicles, bounce houses, carnival games, and so much more with all their favorite pals! 🏰🍨🫧⛱️

A big thank you to each of our parent volunteers who help make this possible. We hope everyone enjoyed a glorious party to end the year! 🌞

We did it! 🎓

Planning and producing a promotion ceremony of their own, GVA Modesto and Homeschool eighth graders proudly took to the stage for a final bow before taking the leap into high school. Staff and students alike cheered as their peers collected awards and special recognitions for showing they had the right stuff to earn the highest honor GVA offers - the Grizzly Award - and as their friends collected their hard-earned diplomas.

No promotion is complete without happy tears, and that was certainly the case with the audience being treated to a special song for the occasion as well as students completing a time-honored tradition: gifting a rose to their loved ones for every sacrifice, every kiss and hug, and every moment of support shared in their time at school. 🌹🌹🌹

Congratulations, grads! We know you'll make us proud in "all you say and do!" 👏🐻

GVA parents gathered to witness the first promotion students undergo: the jump from TK to Kindergarten. There was singing, waving, laughter, and lots of smiles shared by friends and family alike.

We're excited to see what the rest of our youngest students' adventures hold into the future, and we're happy to have shared in the journey this school year! 💙💚

So says Mrs. Perales, who hosted a reclassification ceremony for English as a Second Language (ESL) students.

Each one of these students tested into becoming English fluent students - a sterling academic achievement for anyone who has grown up learning the complexities of two or more languages, both at home and at school.

It is with immense pride that GVA joins Mrs. Perales, the parents of our students, and the students themselves in celebrating their remarkable milestone! 👏
