Nothing brings our IOT Modesto family together like our annual Summer Splash Event! ☀️🍉💦

Yesterday, our staff and students enjoyed an afternoon full of laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories. From exciting games and awesome prizes to cheering on participants in the always-entertaining watermelon eating contest, there was something for everyone!

Events like these remind us that learning is about more than the classroom—it’s about building connections, celebrating each other, and creating a campus community where everyone belongs.

This is what community is all about! We had the pleasure of welcoming the Mt. Whitney CAD ROP students to the IOT Clovis campus for a fun pizza-making demonstration and a tour of our Culinary Arts program! 🍕👨‍🍳

The students got a firsthand look at the creativity, teamwork, and hands-on training that goes into preparing for a future in the culinary industry. We loved sharing our passion for food and showing them what it’s like to learn in a real kitchen environment.

Students in the IOT Clovis Welding Program are practicing heat control using the oxy-acetylene torch, developing the steady hand and technical skills needed for cutting, brazing, and welding applications.

Learning how to properly manage heat is a critical part of becoming a skilled welder, and our hands-on training gives students the confidence to tackle real-world projects safely and effectively.

Our Pharmacy Technician students at IOT Modesto are putting their skills into practice in the hospital module, where they gain hands-on experience in a simulated healthcare environment.
