20 years later, hereâs what PA school actually taught meâŚ
Not just how to diagnose, treat, or survive exams.
It taught me how to function on too little sleep, eat lunch in record time, ask for help when I needed it, and keep showing up even when I wasnât sure I could.
It taught me that medicine is a lifelong journey of learning. That some of your closest friendships will be forged during the hardest seasons. And that youâre far more capable than you think.
To those of you applying, studying, surviving clinicals, or waiting for that acceptance letter: keep going. The long days wonât last forever, but the lessons and relationships will stay with you for a lifetime.
And if you need a little guidance along the way, me and my team of coaches are here for you. â¤ď¸

Follow back because the bigger the community the better! Stolen from Lyss Llo | ENT PA-C | Lifestyle Creator â¤ď¸ because I love her and this trend.
PAs belong with PAs.
Not because we all have the same path, but because we share a profession built on collaboration, adaptability, and service.
Community isnât just a nice bonus of this career, itâs one of its greatest strengths. Drop a comment if youâre a PA so I can follow you back!

You can have a strong GPA, thousands of clinical hours, and great experiences⌠and still miss the mark.
Every application cycle, I see students focus on checking boxes while overlooking the things admissions committees actually care about.
Can you clearly explain why PA?
Does your personal statement tell a story theyâll remember?
Do your letters of recommendation come from people who truly know you as a future provider?
Have you shown that you can handle challenges and keep moving forward?
The strongest applications arenât always from the students with the highest stats. Theyâre from the students who can connect the dots and show admissions exactly who they are and why theyâll make an exceptional PA.
Not sure where your application stands?
Comment BOOK and letâs talk through your application strategy with one of our coaches.
