Today, our little learners celebrated Juneteenth through age-appropriate, hands-on activities! ❤️💛💚🖤
At our preschool, we believe it's never too early to introduce children to the values of kindness, freedom, respect, inclusion, and equality. Through colorful crafts, stories, music, and creative play, our toddlers explored the importance of celebrating our differences and treating everyone with love and respect.
Learning begins with small moments that help build compassionate hearts and curious minds. We are proud to nurture a classroom where every child feels valued, included, and celebrated.
Happy Juneteenth!❤️💚💛🖤

🌊🐠 Today our toddlers and preschoolers explored the fascinating world of oceans! Through circle time, discussions, and hands-on sorting activities, children learned about ocean habitats and classified animals that live in the ocean versus those that do not.
This activity supports cognitive development, language growth, critical thinking, and early science skills while encouraging curiosity, observation, and teamwork. Learning through play helps children build meaningful connections that last a lifetime! 💙🐢🦀

Great ideas for our little one
Each activity builds a key skill: the alphabet board trains letter recognition and visual discrimination, the cutting strips develop fine motor control and hand strength for future writing, the pencil counting teaches one-to-one correspondence (the root of number sense), and the shape tracing builds pre-writing strokes and geometry vocabulary.
they’re hands-on, self-correcting, and low-pressure which strengthens focus, confidence, and intrinsic motivation far better than drills or screens at this age.

📖🌸 Story time with Monet! 🌸
We’ve been reading Ella in the Garden of Giverny , the perfect pairing for our Water Lilies art project! 🎨
Why little ones love it: soft, dreamy illustrations full of color, gentle faces, and a garden full of things to point at. 💚
What they learn:
🌿 New words — flowers, pond, garden, colors
👀 Visual awareness and focus
🎨 A love of art and creativity
💛 Curiosity through Ella, a little girl just like them
Books + hands-on art = big learning for little minds! ✨

🎨🌸 A little Monet magic today! 🌸
Our little artists made their own “Water Lilies” inspired by Claude Monet! Using paper plates as canvases, they swirled greens and purples into dreamy ponds, then added red blossoms and lily pads. 💚🌺
Why do the kids love it? They get to squish, mix, and create with their hands and there’s no “wrong” way to do it! Every plate is as unique as the child who made it. ✨

Today our little artists met Claude Monet! 🎨
During story time, we explored picture books about his life and famous garden paintings, looking closely at colors and shapes. And this is just the beginning we’ll be reading and learning about Monet all week long!
Why it matters: Early exposure to fine art strengthens visual processing, focus, and memory. Naming what they see builds vocabulary and observation skills, while group story time supports attention and listening comprehension all while nurturing imagination and emotional expression. 💙

A peek into our purposeful learning today! 📚
Every activity is chosen with a reason. Letter tracing builds fine motor skills and letter-sound recognition. Our “Finny the Fish” story strengthens listening comprehension the foundation for understanding text as readers. Counting ducks builds number sense, and our Animal Families puzzles grow vocabulary, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Play is how young children learn best every crayon stroke and puzzle piece is building the brain behind reading and math. So proud of our focused little learners! 💙
