🐾📚 Special Visitor at CHES! 📚🐾
Dutch stopped by CHES yesterday to spend some time with students, and the kids loved the visit!
Students present were entered into a drawing to win a stuffed Dutch puppy.
Congratulations to our winner - Aryah in 4th grade! 🎉

🏆 Central Heights Shines in the Lone Star Cup Standings! 🏆
We are incredibly proud to see Central Heights ISD sitting strong at #15 in the latest UIL 3A Lone Star Cup standings! 💙
For those who might be asking, "What exactly is the Lone Star Cup?" 🤔
The UIL Lone Star Cup is one of the most prestigious honors a Texas school can achieve. It is awarded annually to high schools that exhibit outstanding overall performance in both academic and athletic competitions.
Schools earn points throughout the year based on their success in:
Athletics: Team sports like cross country, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, tennis and track & field.
Academics: UIL Academic state championships.
One-Act Play & Spirit: Showcasing Excellence in the arts and school pride.
To be ranked in the Top 25 in the entire state is a massive testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our incredible student-athletes, brilliant academic competitors, amazing coaches, and dedicated teachers.
