Rustin’s Reading Readiness – Fall Programming Update
(Starting after Labor Day)
Rustin’s Reading Readiness is growing — and so are our students! Many of our learners have made incredible progress, and while some still thrive best in one-on-one sessions, others are ready to shine in a small group setting where they can benefit from peer learning, collaboration, and social skill development — all while continuing to grow their literacy skills.

💡 Why Group Classes? Social Learning Benefits: Students practice listening, turn-taking, and collaboration. Confidence Building: Sharing answers and ideas in a group builds speaking and comprehension skills. Continued Support: Students who have progressed beyond 1:1 needs still receive structured guidance. Fun, Engaging Environment: Activities and lessons designed for interaction and teamwork.



📅 Fall Schedule & Structure
Group Classes (Mon–Thurs): $45 / 1 hour


Small class sizes (at Ms. Brittany’s discretion for maximum impact)


Divided by age group


Friday “Come-All” Class: Open to all ages/levels for extra support or make-ups


1:1 Sessions (Sundays only): $60 / 45 min


For students who need individualized attention

Current Students: We already know who’s ready for group or will remain in 1:1. No assessment needed. New Students: Please schedule a 1:1 assessment in August to determine best placement.



📅 Important Dates
August: Open scheduling (assessments for new students, flexible times for existing students)


After Labor Day: Fall group classes begin

📌 Cancellation Policy
Because of our specialized 1:1 and small-group model:
24-hour notice is required for cancellations. Canceled weekly spots can be made up in Friday’s “Come-All” group session (open to all ages/levels).
