Program Coordinator Spotlight: Meet Dr. Rachel Jumper Kimbrell, Graduate Coordinator, MS in Human Sciences.
Where are you from: I am actually from Nacogdoches, and I graduated from Woden High School. My family on my mother's side has been in Nac since 1836!
How long have you been with SFA: I have been at SFASU for 12 years now, 11 years as a faculty member.
What’s your favorite part about working with students: I love working with graduate students because they bring both professional experience and a desire to dig deeper and learn more about content that they are passionate about! I really enjoy helping students develop, and feel confident in using, their own voice and watching them make meaningful contributions to their workplace and community.
What is a fun fact about you: I love visiting National Parks and I'm excited to cross two more off my list this summer traveling to Denali National Park and Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska!
