I can tell you through personal experience that the changing room is the hardest thing to build, but the easiest thing to fall. I had 2 promotions in a long career and without doubt the common denominator was an exceptional team spirit within the changing room walls. Arsenal FC will rightly get all the plaudits for winning the EPL, and rightly so. However, my nomination for another team of the season would also be Wrexham. Previously achieving an unprecedented three consecutive promotions across three different tiers of the English football pyramid, and came so close to playing in the EPL. (Just missing out on the playoffs). Their rise has been nothing short of phenomenal and I expect them to be even closer to promotion next season. I was a former team mate with both Phil Parkinson (Manager) and Steve Parkin (Assistant Manager) and I can tell you that they will have an outstanding team culture within their walls. Recruiting players who fit their model in terms of personality, attitude etc would be high up on their player profile. for the club.
