Memories from the June All Skills Camp! An amazing HR Derby and special remarks from Jeff Tenbarge and Brian Ferreira highlighted the last two days. We are grateful for the campers, their parents, our coaches, sponsors and the Fleischmann Park grounds crew for the great experience. Autographs from Jackie Bradley Jr. and KC Royals HOF Jeff Montgomery and our dear friend Cookie Rojas were among the best prizes awarded, while ten campers received the Steve Lusby book, Searching for the Perfect Swing, which were graciously donated by the Lusby family in his honor. Day 2 of the June All Skills Camp! Coach Tim Cain discussed how to challenge your mind and play with a winning attitude to start the morning session. Today we got in lots of hitting, fielding, pitching, catching and bunting practice by all five groups, plus the game and the trivia contest to wrap up the session. Another fruitful day on the diamond!

The JRBC June All Skills Camp got underway today with over 100 participants and 17 coaches. Our campers executed agility drills and worked hard to improve their skills in hitting, pitching, catching and INF/OF play. The players also competed in one of five games under sunny skies. Of course, we finished with the popular Trivia Contest, which is sponsored by Impact Team Sports. Looking forward to more fun in the sun the next three days at beautiful Fleischmann Park. The First June Hitting Camp! A huge thank you to the campers, parents, coaches, groundskeepers, photographer Glenn Christopher, and the JRBC sponsors, most notably the ten Grand Slam businesses seen here. Great ending to the First June Hitting Camp! Keynote speaker Dennis Vince, a veteran college baseball and basketball coach, gave us words of wisdom. The campers participated in live hitting, pepper, Super Pickle, and the All-Star Competition: base running, bunting, sliding and the popular Home Run Derby. Day 2 of the First June Hitting Camp- Our dear friend and coach Frank Anzeveno got the morning started with a heartfelt message about friendship. Our campers worked hard on hitting and sliding while finishing the day with the daily game, a review of the skills learned, and the daily trivia questions. We are looking forward to the All-Star competition tomorrow that includes base running, sliding, bunting and the Home Run Derby!

Play ball! The JRBC First June Hitting Camp is now underway at Fleischmann Park and today our campers worked on their hitting skills, bunting and base running. Of course, they also participated in one of the four games played and finished the day with the trivia contest, winning JRBC hats courtesy of Impact Team Sports.

Back in action at Fleischmann Park! TBT- 2020, the COVID-19 year, was difficult on many fronts. However, the JRBC completed all sessions without interruptions.
