meet Elara finished. her tutu is a very unusual raw silk, outlined with a black pleated, gold-edged sheer trim, and has black silk roses at the neck. She has vintage Czech buttons holding the net skirt in place, and it's topped with a mohair bolero fastened with another vintage Czech button

on my workbench this week: while digging through my stacks of fur, I found this bit of pink. there is enough for an 18" six-way jointed bear, so I'm cutting one out :-)

on my workbench this week: wathe 18", 6-way jointed Ballerina teddy is nearing completion. cut from a vintage string mohair with a twist, she is waiting for her tutu. (turquoise raw silk tweed with a black skirt) she is waiting for her new mom to name her.

on my workbench this week: the panda cub is almost finished!! it needs a bit more trimming, but the eyes are set and I finally figured out how to put a Kelly Dean nose on a panda bear!!
