One of life’s pleasures= Tennessee strawberries in season. As a California native, I appreciate the year round crop of beautiful berries that are produced in Ventura County. But those berries are bred for looks and transport. These little sweeties pictured here are fragile, bruise easily, decompose quickly. They must be enjoyed soon after picking or frozen. And they taste sublime-sweet tart and like STRAWBERRY!
