Only 4 Days to the next Big Band Dance at the Parthenon Ellipse! Nashville African American Wind Symphony is the band and we've got great food trucks too.

Nashville African American Wind Symphony will play Saturday at the Dance on June 20 at the Parthenon Ellipse!
While you are there, enjoy a Fratellos Italian Ice or a LoveFest Lemonade to beat the heat.

Items to bring to Big Band this evening:

- Sunscreen (at least for the first hour while the sun is still out)
- Water - Creative Parks Nashville will have cold water available for a $2 donation.
- Lawn chair or blanket - You'll be able to set up on the grass oval.
- Comfortable shoes!

Big Band Dance is tomorrow! Dance lessons start at 7:00 p.m. The South Jackson Street Band begins playing at 7:30 p.m.

We are hoping we don't have rain, but if we do, we've got a place to go:

Important GYM RULES:
No boots, high heels or hard-soled shoes in the gym (feet will be checked at the door, REALLY?!)
No food or drink in the gym (except water)
Bleachers for sitting will be available, no chairs on the gym floor, but on the sidelines is okay
