Nashville Zoo will be here for Zooventures on Tuesday, June 30 at 10:30AM! Come explore the world of animals and learn the importance of conservation. Live animal demonstrations, animal artifacts, and activities. For all ages.

Strong fathers help build strong families and strong communities.

This Saturday, families from across Nashville are invited to attend the 2026 Fatherhood Festival, featuring NFL alumni, family-friendly activities, free health screenings, parenting resources, food, games, and more.

The event is designed to encourage father involvement, promote family wellness, and connect families with valuable community resources in a fun and engaging environment.

🎉 The Book Bus is turning another year older, and we’re celebrating!

Join us for the FREE Book Bus Birthday Bash on Saturday, June 27 from 9:30 AM to noon at Cornelia Fort Airpark in Nashville.

We’ll have story times, face painting, a scavenger hunt, Book Bus tours, and plenty of fun for the whole family. Best of all, it’s completely free.

Families are welcome to bring a new or gently used book to donate to our Book Drive. Every book goes directly to a child in our community. No book? No problem. Everyone is welcome.

Apply for Metro Nashville Public Schools Pre-K!

MNPS is accepting 2026-27 pre-K applications.

Eligibility: Children must turn four years old on or before August 15 of the school year they are applying to for pre-K. Some classrooms accept 3-year-olds.

Davidson County families have access to free ParentPowered text messages delivered weekly that provide developmentally appropriate, age-based activities for your child, ages 0 to 3.
