In April we had a new patient join our Maternal Health Program in India. She was underweight and had concerningly low lab results. After counseling and guidance from our medical staff, she was put on a regime that would help her gain weight and balance her iron levels. Every month she came to the clinic looking healthier and stronger! During her 7 month sonogram, the doctors recognized that she could have a complicated delivery. They advised that the moment she went into labor she go straight to the hospital. We are so pleased to share that both Momma and Baby are doing great! Our staff visited her home to celebrate!

Praise the Lord for another wonderful year at the LiveBeyond School in Thomazeau, Haiti! We are so proud of our students and teachers and their hard work this year! In the midst of so much uncertainty and violence in Haiti, this school continues to be a light in the region!

Over 47,000 mothers die during childbirth every year in India and malnutrition affects 35% of children under five in Maharashtra. This is why we are dedicated to providing medical care, education, and nutrition to the mothers and children of Maharashtra.
