IF YOU ARE A DAD AND YOU HAVE YOUNG DAUGHTERS… BRING THEM INTO THE WOMENS BATHROOM!!!

I promise you, 99% of us WOMEN would prefer that than you bringing your child into the men’s.

As for that 1% of women who have an issue with this: I got you. I will speak up for you and shut them down if I hear anything negative. I would rather you bring your daughters in the women’s bathroom vs take those babies in the men’s bathroom any day of the week. We, as women, have had decades of interactions with men and most of us completely understand why you would risk yourself coming into the women’s bathroom in order to take your daughters. FOR THEIR SAFETY. THEIR INNOCENCE.

THE FACT THAT A MAN KNOWS ITS SAFER (AND CLEANER)TO TAKE A CHANCE TO BRING HIS DAUGHTERS IN THE WOMENS BATHROOM SHOULD TELL YOU EVERY THING YOU NEED TO KNOW.

But let me also be so very clear…. As a boy mom… my sons will continue coming into the women’s restrooms until I FEEL they can protect themselves physically against a grow man. I will not risk their safety by sending them into the men’s room unsupervised while I stand in the hall.

And if anyone has a problem with either of these things, they can take it up with me. Or my husband.

PSA: For all Parents: Check the kids spaces!! these cans (and more) were found at the very top of the Slide Structure at old Fort. Some still half full with alcohol!! 😡

We love Murfreesboro Parks & Rec. this isn’t a reflection on them, but on the people taking the public spaces they’ve created for us for granted.

Parks are public spaces. I get that.
BUT to leave your cans (some with alcohol still in them) up at the top of a play structure for kids to get into where the parents aren’t climbing? DO BETTER.

Pick up your trash but more importantly don’t leave open containers in spaces meant for kids.

Here’s some Father’s Day Craft Inspo!!!

Let them mix the playdough.

It’s going to be okay, really.

Let them build bridges for toy cars with blocks,
…and bring spoons and bowls into the sandbox.

Let them pull blankets and pillows off their beds to make forts and have tea parties for stuffed animals. 🧸

I know it’s a lot… and maybe the thought of the colors mixing makes your eye twitch… but…

Their imaginations are vast and expansive, they can create magical worlds of make believe and vibrant art, if given the opportunity.

Let them make mud pies, at least once, jump in the puddle…and every now and then, let them mix the playdough.

Let them show you how beautiful the world can be.

If you haven’t heard, a popular YouTube just announced that they chose to end their pregnancy because of test results indicated their baby would have Down syndrome…

I just genuinely don’t understand how as a society we think this is okay??? It feels very WWII vibey to me.

Like? Oh. You have an extra chromosome. You don’t deserve a chance at life.

I genuinely will never understand. Will it create more challenges? Definitely. But does something being challenging mean it’s not worth it? Breaking your leg makes life more challenging. Should we just cut it off instead of going through the process of letting it heal?

I just don’t get it. And I don’t think I ever will. My brain can’t comprehend it. And honestly? I don’t think I want to.
