RATTLER CONCERT BANDS ADVANCE!! School may be out but our recordings continue to advance!! Congratulations to the Wind Ensemble for advancing to the Area Round of the TMEA 4A Honor Band Contest and the ATSSB OPS Contest-4A March Division with their performance of “Kiefer’s Special!” Congratulations to the Symphonic Band for advancing to the Area Round of the ATSSB OPS Contest - HSNV March and Concert Divisions with their performances of “Generosity (March)” and “Blue Sky Horizon!”

Tonight, we celebrate the Graduation of the Rattler Band Class of 2026!! These students have given so much time and energy to our program over the past 4 years and we are certain that they will go on to do many great things!!! They graduate as part of one of the largest classes to ever graduate from Navasota High School and one of the most decorated classes in our program’s history!!

Our final Senior Spotlight is Kayne Osmulski!! Kayne is a euphonium player in the Wind Ensemble and serves as the Tuba/Euphonium Section Leader and Head of Operations! He is an All-Region Band member and a recipient of a Band Booster Club Scholarship. Kayne plans to attend SHSU and major in Criminal Justice.

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Chloye Husted!! Chloye is a 4-year member of the Rattler Band and a clarinet player in Symphonic Band! She plans to attend Blinn College and major in Nursing!!

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Bernardo Flores!! Bernie is a clarinet player in the Wind Ensemble and a 4-year member of the Rattler Band! He plans to attend Blinn College and major in Pre-Nursing!

With the approval of the NISD School Board at tonight’s meeting, we are pleased to announce that the Navasota Rattler Band has been invited to march in the 2027 National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade on Saturday, April 10 in Washington D.C.!!! This is a tremendous honor and we are proud to represent our School, District, and City on the National Stage.

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Diego Vasquez!! Diego is a bass clarinet player in the Wind Ensemble and currently serves on our Student Leadership Team as a Clarinet Section Leader! Diego is a past member of the ATSSB Region 23 All-Region Band and Area Qualifier.

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Yuridia Zarate!! Yuri is a clarinet player in the Wind Ensemble. In addition to being a 4-year Rattler Band member, she is also a 4-year member of the Diamonettes!! Yuri is the recipient of a Band Booster Scholarship and plans to attend SHSU to major in Business.

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Betsy Chavez!! Betsy is the principal clarinet in the Wind Ensemble and also serves as the Woodwind Captain for the Rattler Band! Betsy is a State Solo and Ensemble qualifier and will graduate High School as a licensed cosmetologist!!
