🖤 This Juneteenth, we pause to reflect on freedom, honor resilience, and celebrate the generations whose strength and perseverance paved the way.

Join us today, Friday, June 19, for the annual Juneteenth Freedom Parade hosted by the Grimes County Juneteenth Association. Beginning at 11:00 AM in downtown Anderson, this cherished tradition continues to bring the Grimes County community together in celebration and remembrance.

Then, on Saturday, June 20, the celebration continues in Navasota with the Juneteenth Sounds of Navasota Celebration concert on the City Hall lawn!

Families, we love sharing unique ways for our students to grow, learn, and have fun outside the classroom. We are excited to pass along an awesome event coming up this fall: the Kids Markets in Navasota!

This is a fantastic, real-world opportunity for kids and teens (ages 5–17) to explore entrepreneurship. Whether your child loves crafting, baking, inventing, or coding, this supportive market empowers them to launch a mini-business, learn financial literacy, and build major confidence! 💡💼
