Bringing hands-on STEM education directly to communities helps ensure every student has the opportunity to explore, discover, and imagine what’s possible for their future. 🚀✨
At our recent Mini STEM Fest in Pointe Coupee, 400+ students engaged in exciting, interactive STEM experiences — from exploring sheep heart lungs, creating slime, meeting Rover the robotic dog and Pepper the humanoid robot, and so much more.
Providing experiences like these in rural communities is critical because access to high-quality STEM opportunities helps expose students to new career pathways, build confidence in problem-solving, and inspire the next generation of innovators no matter where they live.
A special thank you to STEM Magnet Academy of Pointe Coupee and the Pointe Coupee Parish School Board for partnering with us to bring meaningful STEM learning opportunities to students in their community. 💙 Pointe Coupee Parish School Board: Family Engagement

Today, we honor Juneteenth — a reminder that freedom, opportunity, and progress should be accessible to all. ❤️🖤💚
At STEM NOLA | STEM Global Action, we believe true freedom includes access to education and opportunity.
Through hands-on STEM experiences, we work to ensure every child has the chance to explore, innovate, and see themselves as the scientists, engineers, and leaders of tomorrow.
This work is bigger than STEM — it’s about creating pathways to economic opportunity, empowering communities, and building a future where every child knows: You belong here.
Today we remember, reflect, and recommit to expanding access and opportunity for the next generation. ✨

The U.S. Is Losing Its Scientists!!!
==>>>Three quarters of U.S. researchers who responded to a poll conducted last March were thinking about moving abroad.
Last year the National Science Foundation terminated about $1 billion in grants and fired 10 percent of its employees. At the National Institutes of Health, grants amounting to more than $1.8 billion were canceled. By early 2026 more than 10,000 people with STEM Ph.D.s had lost or left their jobs because of federal workforce cuts.
For many scientists from the U.S., moving abroad has become a lifeline: a way to pursue world-class research without fighting against the funding cuts and disruptive policies currently stifling American science.
“There is an immeasurable level of anxiety.”
