Update: All Summer Academy sites will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, June 18th, due to anticipated inclement weather.

We are actively monitoring weather conditions for today and will communicate any changes, but we strongly anticipate getting students home safely without any changes to dismissal.

As a reminder, Summer Academy will also be closed on Friday, June 19th, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. We plan to reopen on Monday, June 22nd.

📣 Open Enrollment for early childhood is here for the 2026–2027 school year!

Families, we’re here to make the enrollment process easier and more supportive for you every step of the way.

Join the NOLAPS Early Childhood team at Langston Hughes Academy for a dedicated enrollment support event designed especially for PreK and early childhood families.

Staff will be on-site to help with application assistance, document submission, and waitlist guidance so you don’t have to navigate it alone.
