There is something powerful about seeing young people trust their voices. Over the course of this process, our Young Artists took risks, asked hard questions, listened deeply, and created something that could only exist because of their collective imagination. Every rehearsal, every conversation, and every moment on stage was shaped by their ideas and experiences.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for We The People Are Complicated. And to our Young Artists: thank you for reminding us that art can be a place to wonder, question, and dream together. đź’›

Grateful to convene a breakfast gathering with NYC Department of Cultural Affairs Commissioner Diya Vij and fellow members of the Coalition of Theatres of Color.🎭

What began with 11 organizations has grown into a network of more than 65 theatres and arts organizations of color across NYC. We're thankful to partner with legacy leaders like Elizabeth Van D**e of The Federal Theatre and Sade Lythcott of National Black Theatre as we continue advocating for our sector and the communities we serve.

Here's to many more gatherings across the city and in our future home. ✨

We are so proud of our Young Artists! Watching them grow as performers, devisers, collaborators, and storytellers has been nothing short of amazing. Their care, courage, and attention to detail in the devising process remind us why youth theatre matters so deeply.

They are not just imagining the future. They are building it, scene by scene, choice by choice, together.
And if this is what the future looks like, we are feeling very hopeful. đź’›
