Thank you to ParaBellum Security Group who hosted Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) training for our students at our Woodbridge campus. All participants passed their exam and are certified as private security guards. “Bringing career-focused initiatives like SORA classes to our campuses gives students valuable real-world skills, hands-on experience, and early exposure to career pathways that prepare them for success beyond graduation,” said Rovena Passero, Career Counselor, Berkeley College. “These opportunities help students build confidence, strengthen workforce readiness, and better connect their education to future careers.” Keep your eyes open – you may see some of our students at FIFA events this summer!

We were thrilled to host Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on Thursday, May 28. Participants explored “The Future is @ Work” and were empowered to follow their dreams and explore the roles needed to operate a college. Activities built self-confidence and resilience, encouraged learning, and investigated future careers. Other fun moments included campus tours, dance parties, arts and crafts, meet and greets, and a surprise visit from the Berkeley Knight!
