Join us on June 20th at 5pm for a performance by contemporary dancer Šárka Benedová. She will be accompanied by musician and sound artist Atul Giri. Together, the performance highlights a shared language of stillness and silence.
BIO: Šárka Benedová is a dancer and saxophonist based in Oslo, originally from the Czech Republic. Working at the intersection of sound and movement, she creates individual as well as collaborative works that range from stage to site-specific and public spaces and have been presented across Europe and Scandinavia.
Atul Giri is an Oslo based Indian sound and music artist. Through ambient music, field recording, sound art, and spatial audio installations, he creates works that invite deep listening and reflection. His practice explores remote sound environments, silence, place, memory, and a myriad of human conditions.
