Join us on Friday evening to celebrate a rich buffet of musical styles performed by our choral and string ensembles.

The program features a canzonetta by Mendelssohn alongside the Brook Green Suite, showcasing the classic British string orchestra tradition. Audiences will also enjoy a lively collection of Latin-inspired works for strings.

The choral program includes Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel) by Billy Joel, arranged by Mac Huff; the evocative “Only in Sleep,” featuring poetry by Sara Teasdale with music by Ēriks Ešenvalds and arrangements by Andris Sējāns and Graham Welsh, featuring soloist Audra Bowers; and “When I Hear Music” by Brian Katona.

The evening concludes with a collaborative finale of “Songs for the People,” featuring text by Frances Harper and music by Jacob Narverud, bringing both ensembles together in a celebration of music and community.
