Balancing the Scales of Death
The motto or slogan of the Third Reich was “obedience unto death.” The duty of each and every German was to be willing to die for the nation when asked to do so. Not a single German was exempt from this obligation.
But what about Jews? Would they survive in "warm concentration camps?" The purpose of the Holocaust was to balance the scales of death. As German men, women and children were compelled to die for the nation, so Jewish men, women and children would be compelled to die.
The death of German human beings and death of Jewish human beings were two sides of the same coin. In Hitler’s mind, what kind of world would it be with so many Germans dead and so many Jews alive? If Germans had to die, so Jews too would have to die—o balance the scales of death.
And what is a "follower" as compared to a "friend." There used to be a minimum of 5000. Now I have 5300, and I barely know any of them and they rarely respond to my posts. A WORLD IN FLAMES.
