Aryeh is Columbia University’s pro-Israel public affairs committee that aims to educate the campus community about Israel. We provide Columbia students with diverse opportunities to connect with Israel including cultural, academic, political, and philanthropic programming. This evening marks the beginning of Yom HaShoah. We honor and remember the 6 million Jewish men, women, and children murdered in the Holocaust. May their memory be a blessing.

On Friday, 96-year-old Holocaust survivor Borys Romanchenko was killed in a Russian bombing of Kharkiv, Ukraine. Romanchenko survived Buchenwald, Peenemünde, Dora and Bergen-Belsen. May he rest in peace🕊

Israel’s small but proud Olympic delegation takes aim at the Beijing Winter Games Four ice skaters and two skiers will represent Israel, while Jewish athletes from the US and Canada will also take to the ice at the 2022 Olympics, starting Friday
