We're hosting our third Family Vibe Coding Workshop!

This Father's Day, you can skip the socks and build something together. From 3:30 to 5:00 PM, you and your child will learn how to use lovable.dev to build a real working application together. No coding experience needed!

Our Summer Camp has officially started! And enrollment is still open. ☀️🏕️

If you've been on the fence, here's exactly what your child's first day looks like 👇

Every morning, campers write real code in Scratch, JavaScript, and Python, working on projects they actually care about. Our instructors use the Socratic Method, so instead of being handed answers, students are pushed to think through problems on their own. With a 4:1 camper-to-instructor ratio, no one gets left behind.

Every afternoon, campers choose a Tech Pathway to go deeper. This week we're spotlighting Game Design.

Campers use tools like Bitsy and GDevelop to build real video games, learning level design, game mechanics, and user experience along the way.

Stay tuned; we'll be covering all 4 pathways over the coming weeks. 👀

Bonus: we also offer scheduled outdoor time at local parks and field trips to STEM museums and tech companies in the city so our students get exposure to real-world applications of what they're learning at camp.

Your kids don't need a lab to do real science: just a kitchen, some materials, and lots of curiosity 🧪✨

🌉 Build a Bridge: design it, test it, and see how much weight it holds before it breaks
🍋 Invisible Ink: write a secret message with lemon juice and reveal it with heat
🚀 Balloon Rocket: launch a balloon across the room using nothing but air pressure

Each one is simple, mess-friendly (mostly 😅), and packed with real science.

This week, New York City celebrates its tech community during NYC Tech Week, and at The Coding Space, we think that's worth reflecting on.

The city's tech industry is built by people who, at some point, were just curious kids who wanted to understand how things worked.

That's exactly the spark we aim to nurture. At The Coding Space, students don't just consume technology; they learn to build it, question it, and shape it to their own ideas.
