There has been some confusion lately about the value of being a theatre kid. Let’s be clear.
Theatre kids are academically strong.
They are emotionally intelligent.
They are collaborative leaders and creative thinkers.
The evidence is overwhelming.
The impact is measurable.
The stories are undeniable.
EdTA stands proudly with theatre kids everywhere.
Join us by sharing what theatre taught you, and why you are proud to be a Theatre Kid.

What a joy to spend some time yesterday with these NYC DOE educators! iTheatrics’ own Lindsay Lupi, Mary-Catherine Chambliss, and Jenna Barricklo loved meeting new educators from across the city and reconnecting with familiar faces. Thanks to the New York City Department of Education and Music Theatre International for making this program possible!
