From May to September, free concerts at Rockefeller Center will be hosted by TODAY, featuring artists such as Melanie Martinez, KATSEYE, and more!

Presented by Persol, free outdoor movies will be screened at Brooklyn Bridge Park, featuring classics such as “When Harry Met Sally”, “Jurassic Park”, and more!
🎷 SummerStage
From Capital One City Parks Foundation, this year marks the 40th anniversary of SummerStage! The lineup for 2026 will feature 60+ shows in parks across all boroughs, bringing free live performances and ticketed benefit concerts to millions in the city.
🍿 Oculus Outdoors
At the North Oculus Plaza, free outdoor movies will be screened on specific Thursday and Friday evenings this summer! Don’t miss favorites such as “She’s the Man”, “Spy Kids”, and more!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Open Mic Night at Drip Drop Cafe on May 4th! We would like to give a special thanks to all who performed — we loved hearing students sing, read excerpts from their personal writing, and perform pieces of poetry. We hope all guests enjoyed the performances, the cafe, and the event hosted by the Master’s College Leadership Board! 🎭

Congratulations to our graduating GSAS master’s students!
The Master’s College held a toast at The Malt House on May 1st to celebrate the achievements of our spring graduates. Thank you to all the students and alumni who joined us for this occasion and to the Leadership Board and MCAA for organizing the event. We are incredibly proud of all graduating students and wish everyone the best for the next part of their professional and academic journeys 🥂

The evening before the Final Round of Threesis, the Master’s College hosts the Qualifying Round!
This year, the night was filled with inspiring presentations and great conversations. We would like to thank every student who attended and all those who took part in Threesis. In addition, we want to shoutout all the Qualifying Round judges — we appreciate your time and expertise. The Master’s College is proud to showcase the research work of GSAS master’s students and host this competition annually!

The Master’s College hosted the 2026 Threesis Academic Challenge last weekend 🏆
Congratulations to our first place winner Iman Beckles, a Biomedical Informatics student whose research presentation was titled “Exposing Preeclampsia”. We would like to thank all other finalists, competitors, judges, attendees, and event organizers for coming together last Saturday to celebrate master’s level research at NYU. This year’s competition was filled with engaging presentations and compelling research. We look forward to what next year’s challenge will bring!
