Looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities over the summer? Want to add something interesting to your resume?

DelveBright Education is a student-driven 501(c)(3) service organization dedicated to developing our community and helping underprivileged students in NYC through education. One of the things we provide is an alternative to pricey summer schools or preparatory schools.

We’re looking for volunteers to tutor English and Math to elementary school students at libraries and other community locations throughout NYC during the summer. Specific locations are still being determined. We also have opportunities to engage in marketing, fundraising, and business development. LEADERSHIP POSITIONS are also available.

We use rolling admissions so the sooner you apply, the sooner you’ll hear back. Our set deadline to volunteer is May 31st, but if you intend to pursue a leadership position, you need to apply by May 1st.

Today we held graduation for children attending the Chinese-American Planning Council Summer Camp. Thanks to those tutors from DelveBright Education who are also students from Stuyvesant & Bronx Science. They volunteered their own time to teach English and Math. Thx

We had a great day on Wednesday working with the NYPD 109th Precinct and the Chinese-American Planning Council to provide tutoring to local school children.

Our first day at the Flushing Library, the Jackson Heights Library, and the Sunset Park Library went great. Thank you to all the tutors and new students who came. See you next Monday!

We’re off to a great start this summer at DelveBright Education. In just our first week, we have accumulated over 250 volunteer hours and tutored 200 students! We hope to help more children in the coming weeks.
