To manage your ADHD you need a strong foundation. Your foundation should include:
Sleep - Getting enough on a regular basis
Hydration - Drinking enough water throughout the day
Nutrition - Eating well at predictable times
Exercise - Breaking a sweat at least 3X a week
Connection - Creating and maintaining relationships
This kind of self-care may sound obvious to neurotypical brains but the ADHD brain resists routine and predictability because it is boring. Self regulation is hard when you have ADHD but when you have a strong foundation your life will be better.
