The Quad Preparatory School

Rainbows, creativity, and classroom pride! Before heading out for summer vacation, students spent time designing and displaying colorful artwork to help brighten their learning space while celebrating Pride Month and the end of another great school year.

Next stop: high school! Last week, we got the chance to celebrate our rising 9th graders at the Moving Up Ceremony. We can't wait to see you next year. Congratulations, Dragons!

Last Thursday, we celebrated an incredible group of graduates whose perseverance, growth, and achievements have inspired our entire community. We are so proud of all that you have accomplished and cannot wait to see where your next chapters take you.

As our Founder & Head of School, Dr. Kim Busi, shared during the ceremony: we hope you continue to ask deeply, care genuinely, and act courageously as you embark on your next journey. The world is lucky to have you.

We also want to extend a very special thank you to LREI for graciously opening their doors and allowing us to hold our commencement ceremony in their beautiful space amidst the Knicks parade festivities. Your generosity helped make this important moment possible.

Yesterday, the Lower School community gathered to celebrate our 5th graders at the Moving Up Ceremony. Friends, family, and faculty alike turned out for the milestone occasion. We are so proud of their accomplishments and cannot wait to see what their middle school chapter has in store. Happy Summer everyone, and Go Dragons! 💙

Last week, Quad Prep welcomed back some familiar faces for our second annual Alumni Homecoming! Former classmates had the opportunity to share their best advice for college and life after high school with our graduating class, as well as collaborate on a survival guide for the upcoming senior class. Once a Dragon, always a Dragon!

All smiles in pre-algebra! As part of their unit on three-dimensional shapes, students constructed their own shapes and challenged their classmates to calculate the volumes and surface areas.

3...2...1...action! 📽️ Talent development is an essential part of our program, and these young filmmakers in Video Production practice directing, producing, and working in teams to create an end product they can be proud of.

Congratulations to our talented Lower School thespians, musicians, and artists on their wonderful Spring Showcases this week! Ending the school year on a high note 🎶

This month is all about making responsible decisions, and we’re bringing it to life through movement! From Red Light, Green Light to basketball, our students are practicing sharing, taking turns, teamwork, and perseverance while having fun!
