🦉🔬 Owl Pellet Bone Investigation at Southfield Institute! 🔬🦉

Our young scientists had an exciting hands-on learning experience as they dissected owl pellets and uncovered the fascinating world of animal biology!

Wearing gloves and using scientific tools, students carefully examined owl pellets to identify and classify bones from the owl's prey. They compared their discoveries with bone charts, learning how scientists study food chains, ecosystems, and animal adaptations. Owl pellets contain the undigested bones, fur, and other materials that owls regurgitate after a meal, making them valuable tools for scientific investigation.
