Hey, 8th graders who graduated and young alumni. We need help with somethings at the church--get your Christian service hours done early! Budget problems close 150-year-old Bronx parish school for good Arianna Conover, who had just finished the last day of fifth grade, walked out of her school on Franklin Ave. yesterday and opened a black umella against rain that matched the tears trickling down her face.

Reminder: Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:00am sharp in the St. Augustine School auditorium--150th Commencement Exercises. This will be the final send off of graduates of our school, which has served the South Bronx with academic excellence, faith, and spiritual hope for over 150 years.

Please "like" The Legacy Fund for Catholic Education as we aim to provide tuition assistance to Catholic school students in the South Bronx. This is a grassroots initiative that will provide direct assistance to student in our community.

Be on the look out for information regarding The Legacy Fund for Catholic Education. The mission of the fund is to support those students, who due to school closures by the Archdiocese of NY, do not have funding to seek alternative placement at other South Bronx Catholic Schools.
