To illustrate how cool our Model Citizen program is, we wanted to share this awesome photo that was sent to us by .z and her dad! When they visited us a year ago and stepped into our 3D scanner, she decided she wanted to have her tiny model placed in the Stockholm area of our model near the City Hall (shown in the first photo) A little while later, we received a photo from her father of them recreating the photo we sent at the real life Stockholm City Hall in Sweden! How cool is that?? We absolutely love when our model citizens come back to visit the tiny version of them in our world but we especially love it when they go the extra mile and send us amazing photos like this! Where in our world would you want to be placed??

Today is the Feast of the Epiphany and we wanted to show off the tiny La Befana in our model of Italy! In Italian folklore, Befana is an old woman/witch who delivers gifts and sweets to children throughout Italy on Epiphany Eve in a similar way to St Nicholas or Santa Claus. We hope all the children (and children at heart) of Italy awoke to sweet surprises today! Buon L'Epifania! ’s

Today we celebrate the Winter Solstice! The Winter Solstice marks the return of the Sun. The Druids and people from around the world gather at Stonehenge to celebrate the midwinter and welcome longer days. In the northern hemisphere, the Winter Solstice takes place on or around December 21st each year.
The Winter Solstice marks the moment when the northern half of the planet is tilted at its furthest point away from the Sun.
The Sun is then at its lowest point in the sky, resulting in the shortest day and the longest night of the day. In the southern hemisphere, it is the Summer Solstice and the longest day of the year. Here at Gulliver’s you can see a small representation of the celebration in our model of Stonehenge!

We’re celebrating 6 Months of collaboration with the incredibly talented Toy Photographer Matt Cohen as well as first full trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie! Just last week, Matt took this beautiful shot of the Mr. Stay Puft (first photo) we have lurking in our model of NYC! Everyone should give his page a look and a follow! He has a fantastic eye! We love the Ghostbusters here at Gulliver’s so what better time to show that off?! 👻🚫
