13th – Thursday 25th
14th – Friday 26th
15th – Saturday 27th

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “My close friend [the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)] advised me to do three things which I will not give up until I die: fasting three days of each month, praying Duha, and sleeping after Witr. (Bukhari & Muslim)

The Prophet (peace & blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, anyone who fasts a day in Allah's cause (for Allah's Pleasure) Allah will keep his face away from the (Hell) fire for (a distance covered by a journey of) seventy years." (Bukhari)

The student population of BMCC needs a space for spiritual and/or meditational purposes that is large enough for a minimum of 50 students. The space must be cleaned regularly (every night after 10 PM) and must have rules that enable all students to use the room comfortably and peacefully. The space must be open for use from (at least) 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Students also request that we be updated on the progress towards making this space bi-weekly. We would like this room to be ready for use by the end of Summer 2020.
