We were honored to welcome back former Browning English teacher and acclaimed author Zach Williams as this year’s Commencement speaker!
Mr. Williams taught Middle and Upper School English at Browning from 2014 to 2019 and helped lead the development of the School’s Code of Conduct. Reflecting on his own time at Browning, he encouraged the Class of 2026 to pursue lives of purpose, to listen for their calling, and to remember their responsibility to the communities that have shaped them. He reminded graduates that meaning comes from balancing what we aspire to with what we serve.
Thank you, Mr. Williams, for returning home to inspire our newest alumni.

What a year it has been for our alumni! At its heart, Browning is a community built on relationships, and it has been a joy to see so many alumni and their families return through the Red Doors this year to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the school they love.
From the Alumni Basketball Game and Reunion to our Young Alumni & Past Parent Reception, these gatherings reminded us that the bonds formed at Browning endure long after graduation.
As the fiscal year comes to a close on June 30, we invite alumni to support the Annual Fund. Every gift helps sustain the people, programs, and opportunities that make Browning such a meaningful place for today's boys. Thank you for helping keep the Browning community strong by visiting browning.edu/make-an-online-gift.

Chosen by the senior class, Upper School Science Chair Michael Vetrano was this year’s recipient of the Class of 1979 Faculty Award!
Presented in honor of Clair J. Smith, a beloved assistant headmaster who served Browning from 1939 to 1979, the award recognizes a faculty member whose dedication, mentorship, and care for students extend far beyond the classroom. Congratulations, Mr. Vetrano!

Happy first day of summer break!
The Browning Library is excited to share this year’s Summer Reading program logo—created through a Middle School design contest. After reviewing several thoughtful submissions, the design by George M. ’31 was selected. The artwork appears on the summer book bags distributed to Middle School boys as part of our ongoing commitment to reading for pleasure, curiosity, and lifelong learning. We're wishing all Browning families a summer filled with great books, discovery, and adventure.
