Her oldest son, raised in a Dallas neighborhood where a quality school was out of reach, was pulled into gang life and died of an overdose. She refused to let the same forces close in on her daughter, Miracle.

CSF Young Leaders Board members headed to East Harlem Saturday for a field day at Saint John Paul the Great Academy. The children had a blast playing soccer and basketball with the YLs and enjoying arts and crafts - including some chalk art on the school walls! Thank you to everyone at Saint John Paul the Great, to the families who came out, and to the Young Leaders Board members and friends who volunteered their time!
