Five generations—one enduring Mount legacy. 🤍💛
When Sean Schools ’26 crossed the stage at this past Saturday’s Commencement ceremony, he became the second member of the fifth generation of his family to graduate from the Mount—exactly 100 years after his great-grandmother, Helen McArdle Donovan, Class of 1926.
Mount alums in his family also include Sean’s great-great grandmother, Margaret Welche McArdle, who attended the Academy in 1898; his grandmother, Margaret Donovan Comerford ’54; his mother, Elizabeth Comerford Schools ’87; his aunts, Ann Marie Comerford Fernandez-Baujin ’88 and Kathleen Comerford O’Keeffe ’92, MS ’04; and his sister Laura Comerford-Schools Mussavage ’17, MS ’18. Remarkably, the family’s connection to the Mount spans over a century of scholarship, service, friendship, and faith.
Their story is a testament to the lifelong bonds formed at the Mount and the generations of Dolphins who continue to call the home. 🐬
