As our dear eighth grade students left rehearsal and were dismissed for the last time, every student and faculty member Beit Rabban Day School lined up to clap them out.
! We love you! We will miss you!

Tekes Bikkurim, held the day before graduation each year, is Beit Rabban Day School’s eighth grade presentation of their capstone projects. Every project is unique, but all have this in common: they are intricate, thoughtful creations. This year, our graduating class’ capstones had us rapt —
A survey of matzah from around the world; a &D campaign of biblical proportion; a science kit filled with experiments and Jewish texts; an aerial arts performance, complete with original choreography; a poetry collection featuring poems for every classmate; paintings imagining the eyes of our biblical ancestors; an archive of song in eight different languages; a journey through Beit Rabban, gamified; a short story murder mystery, featuring the Sanhedrin; and ten (yes, ten!) pieces of pottery representing a decade of student life, each including a quote in Hebrew and memories carved into the clay.
Through their process, each student was mentored by a member of faculty. We are so proud of these glorious projects — and so very proud of our Bikkurim class of 2026/5786!

Our Shorashim (1st) class didn’t just culminate their learning with all of their parents today — they went on a scavenger hunt in the process! Mazal Tov to Shorashim, and a big thanks to Emily and Yael, Shorashim’s lead teachers.

We had our final Zen in the Studio class this afternoon, and we’re delighted to announce that Zen has been achieved in the middle school!
Have you ever wondered how is made? For their interdisciplinary Farm to Table unit, Garinimers/Kindergarteners chose to study pasta! They learned all about the journey our pasta takes to end up as deliciousness on our plates, and as a part of their wonderful culmination, parents joined the class and they served pasta THEY MADE from SCRATCH and a film created with a little help from their fabulous teachers, Danielle and — enjoy!
And Mazal Tov on your Siyum, Gsrinim!
