The Setting
Nestled in the heart of historic Istanbul, sessions will be held at a magnificent 17th-century Ottoman madrasa, a space where generations of scholars have gathered in pursuit of knowledge.

This retreat has been designed with families in mind. A dedicated program for children ages 7-14 will run alongside the adult curriculum, so parents can dedicate themselves to their classes with peace of mind. There will also be a childcare program available for children under 7.

Today is the Day of ʿArafah, a day the Prophet ﷺ described as an opportunity for immense forgiveness and mercy.

If you’re fasting, make the most of every hour. If you’re not fasting, fill your day with duʿāʾ, dhikr, Qur’an, gratitude, and sincere repentance.

Pause the distractions. Delay what can be delayed. Turn your heart toward Allah.

Some days are simply too valuable to treat like any other.

One of the easiest ways to make the most of the Day of ʿArafah is to prepare beforehand.

Take a few minutes today and begin writing your duʿāʾ list. Include everything: forgiveness, guidance, provision, healing, success, steadfastness, Jannah, and the needs of your family and community.

Nothing is too big for Allah to grant, and nothing is too small for Him to hear.
