I am deeply saddened to have discovered the passing of Sensei Basilio Vega. He wasn't just our Karate instructor, he was so much more, and to so many of us. His teachings live on within his students and loved ones.
This page will remain up and dedicated to the life of our beloved Sensei and to his students. For anyone wishing to share some kind words or photos, you are welcomed to message me directly on Facebook through this page.

We study Shotokan, a japanese form of martial arts karate. So what does Shotokan mean?
Shotokan has three japanese kanji characters.
The “Sho” character means pine tree. The “to” character means waves and the “kan” character stands for school/training hall.
