📚❤️ The Flamingos celebrated Juneteenth by reading Let’s Celebrate Juneteenth, a beautiful board book that introduces our youngest learners to the history, culture, and significance of this important holiday. After story time, the children worked to to create a Juneteenth collage, exploring colors, creativity, and community through art. We love creating opportunities for our little learners to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and history in meaningful ways!

👑🏰 Once upon a time, a young architect built a magnificent castle! Using magnetic tiles, our little learner carefully created a tall and colorful structure while exploring shapes, balance, and design. Activities like these help foster creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in a fun and engaging way.

🏀🧡 Knicks Nation is celebrating today! After bringing home their first championship in 53 years, New York City is buzzing with excitement as fans gather for the championship parade. Our little baller was inspired to hit the court and practice his best shot—dreaming big and showing the same determination, teamwork, and heart that helped the Knicks reach the top. Who knows? We may be looking at a future Knicks champion in the making! 🏆✨🗽

🐛 Feeding the caterpillar was so much fun! With the help of our flamingo friends, the children practiced their hand-eye coordination by carefully placing balls through the caterpillar’s body. This engaging activity encouraged focus, fine motor development, and problem-solving skills while keeping learning playful and exciting. We love watching little learners build confidence through hands-on experiences!

🍫🐛 Digging Into Learning! 🐛🍫 The Flamingos brought our garden study to life by creating tasty dirt cups! Using chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos, and gummy worms, the children layered ingredients to make a fun garden-inspired snack. Cooking experiences help young children build independence, develop fine motor skills, and explore math and science concepts through measuring, pouring, mixing, and observing. Most importantly, they create opportunities for children to learn through play—and enjoy a delicious reward at the end!
